Conures are not only inquisitive but also are excellent escape artists. They can also be talkers. Most assuredly they are great entertainers.
At Royal Wings Aviary we raise Greencheek, High Red, and Crimson Bellied Conures.
Greencheek Conures are fun, gentle, snuggly, affectionate, easy-going, curious entertainers and “party animals!” They love to play and make great buddies. Their lifespan is about 30 years.
High Red Conures are a branch of the Greencheeks. They are brightly colored, smart, social, and playful entertainers. High Red Conures are a little more high strung than the regular Greencheeks but do make nice pets. We have pineapple or dark headed High Reds. High Red Conures are noted for the bright red orange color on the front. Their lifespan is 20 to 30 years.
Crimson Bellied Conures are gentle, loving parrots with stunning color and are a little bigger and more laid back than the Greencheeks. They are gentle and make very nice pets. Crimson Bellied Conures have a bright crimson red front and beautiful darker green, blue, and black feathering on the back. Their lifespan is about 20 years.
